WCAC ART SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Worcester County Arts Council's scholarship program is designed to identify, recognize and encourage talented students who demonstrate excellence in Dance, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, and Culinary Arts.
Graduating seniors, who will major in the visual, performing, music or media arts, are encouraged to apply.
Scholarships are also available to college art majors wishing to continue their education in the arts. Applicants are judged on their visual, dramatic, writing, or musical presentations in the form of DVD, CD, or power point recordings.
The Worcester County Arts Council provides awards that range in the amounts from $500 to $2000 to qualifying Worcester County students.
The number and amount of the award are determined by the quality and artistic merit of the application and are based on the funds availability.
Funds are provided for tuition costs and fees and are paid directly to the applicant’s school
