FY 2025 GRANTS
The first round and yearly grant application period has closed. See below for information about the availability of mini-grants during July 1, 2024-December 31, 2024.
The Worcester County Arts Council’s Community Arts Development Grants program is designed to assist local community-based groups to produce and present arts activities in Worcester County and is funded and supported by the Maryland State Arts Council.
This program aims to foster excellence, diversity, and vitality in arts offerings for Worcester County residents and to broaden opportunities for Worcester County audiences, artists, and arts organizations.
Grant projects are evaluated based on the overall quality of cultural excellence, community outreach and public impact, and financial/administrative merit.
The proposed project must be sponsored or presented by an incorporated Maryland not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization and be open to the public. The grant amount requested must be matched one-for-one by organization funds. Last fiscal year the Arts Council awarded close to $50,000 to local organizations through this program.
