2024 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

DEADLINE MAY 3, 2024

The Worcester County Arts Council’s Student Arts Scholarship award program is underway.

The scholarship awards range from $500 to $2000 for qualifying high school seniors who are Worcester County residents interested in majoring in the arts. Scholarships are also available to college art majors wishing to continue their education in the arts.

In 2023, a total of $5,500, including the John Sisson family’s contribution, was awarded to four students who were pursuing an education in the arts.(See Below)

The Worcester County Arts Council’s Student Arts Scholarship program is designed to identify, recognize, and encourage talented students who demonstrate excellence in Creative Writing, Culinary Arts, Dance, Music, Theater, or Visual Arts.

The Worcester County Arts Council's scholarship program is designed to identify, recognize, and encourage talented students who demonstrate excellence in Dance, Music, Theater, Visual Arts, Creative Writing, and Culinary Arts.

In the last ten years, the Worcester County Arts Council has awarded close to $100.000 through this program to qualified Worcester County students.

Scholarship awards are made possible by a grant from the Mary Humphreys Foundation, John Sisson's family, and contributions by many patrons of the Arts Council.
