Work Description: Art is a journey; an expression of self. I invest a lot of emotion into my artwork, and hope that the viewer is moved by them.
My artwork celebrates the beauty of nature whether it is in an amazing sunset or a delicate flower.
I hope you enjoy the journey of my artwork... wherever it takes you.
Biography: Rina is a longtime resident of Ocean City.
She is a watercolor artist whose work consists mostly of landscapes and florals,
painted with expressive color in transparent watercolor.
She rarely uses black or white paint, instead mixing colors to make vibrant darks, and allowing the paper to shine through for her whites.
The inspiration for her landscapes comes from the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore and from her travels to the Caribbean.
She particularly enjoys painting skies, sunsets, palm trees, and water scenes.
Her floral designs depict living, growing flowers each with their own particular character.
Recent Work: look for the Nov/Dec issue of Maryland Life magazine. I painted the ornament to represent Worcester County!
