Biography: Anne’s fascination with the texture, color and reflective qualities of mosaics began about 6 years ago.
Although art is not in her educational background, Anne has learned to successfully use materials,tools, and techniques to produce mosaic art through study and experimentation. She uses tile, stained glass, mirror, and costume jewelry in her art work and continues to explore the use of other materials
and concrete sculptures to develop one-of-a-kind mosaics.
She has chosen the theme of “Ocean” to exhibit her mosaic art for the Worcester County Arts Council.
The opening reception which is free and open to the public will be on Friday, February 8, 2008, from 5-7 p.m., at the Arts Council Gallery
located on 6 Jefferson Street in Berlin.
The exhibit will be on display from February 1 thru March 31, 2008.
Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, and on the occasional Saturday, 11 am to 3 pm.
