- Joan Stockman Work Description: Watercolor Biography: As long as I remember, art in some form has always been a part of my life........music, visual art, theatre, etc. I was an art major in the Carnegie Art Program and although I went on to "major" in family, I have managed to continue studies from time to time over the years. Early on I tried various media, finding that I really love watercolor and that has become my focus. Luckily, we had a resident artist/teacher for several years locally who has really pushed me on.
