Community Arts Development Grants
The Worcester County Arts Council’s Community Arts Development Grants program is designed to assist local community based groups produce and present arts activities in Worcester County and is funded and supported by the Maryland State Arts Council.

The following is a list of local, non-profit organizations and their events that are being awarded a Community Arts Development Grant for the granting period: January 1 - June 30, 2012:

Art League of Ocean City - various art exhibits
Assateaque People of Delmarva – “The Drums on the Pocomoke” annual Powwow
Berlin Intermediate School – “Art Fest” 2012
Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra – various performances
Pine Tones Chorus - Spring Concert Series
Town of Ocean City Rec. & Parks – Children’s Art Workshops at Art’s Alive
Ward Museum - Wildfowl Carving Competition & Art Festival in Ocean City
Worcester Chorale – Spring Anniversary Concert
Worcester County Library Foundation – “Aladdin” performance at the MarVa Theatre
Worcester County Library Foundation – Tim O’Brien Appearance
Worcester County Children’s Theater – “Stages” production

APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINES:

Grant Periods: Grants may be made for projects occurring during the 6-month periods of:
January 1 through June 30 - Deadline to submit: October 15th
July 1 through December 31 - Deadline to submit: April 15th


Organizations which hold projects year-around or in both of the 6-month periods may request grants which cover the entire fiscal year of July through the following June.
Annual grant applications must be submitted by April 15th.
