Class Registration
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Registration deadline is at least one week prior to class start date. Please register as early as possible.
Registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received.
If the one-week deadline has passed, students may be accepted at the discretion of the instructor.
WCAC reserves the right to cancel a class based on insufficient registrations.
Student will be notified by phone and/or e-mail if there are any scheduling changes or if the class is cancelled. Please include your e-mail address if you use e-mail.
All classes/workshops take place at the WCAC location unless otherwise noted.
Refunds could be granted if student's cancellation was recieved at least 7 days prior class beginning date. There are no refunds for missed classes.

Fill out this form and submit it electronically. Once you click the submit button below, your information will be emailed to the WCAC and the space will be held. Once your order has been processed you will receive an email including the amount due and confirmation of one of the following payment methods and additional instructions.
Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of dangerous weather conditions, WCAC follows the Worcester County School system. If classes or after-hours events are cancelled, WCAC will not hold classes. - Oil Painting Workshop

Have you been afraid that painting in oils is too difficult?
During this 3 day workshop you'll learn a new skill, or polish the skills you already have. Methods of laying out the palette, sketching the subject, and exploring color in landscape and still life will be taught by local, award-winning artist, Stasia Heubeck.
- Beginner Crochet

DESCRIPTION: A single hooked needle is all it takes to chain loops and build one upon another to form a crocheted fabric. This class provides a student with the ability to complete simple, first-time projects. Project choices include hats, scarves, slippers, head bands, afghan blocks and much more. Students will learn multiple basic crochet stitches, how to combine them in patterns, learn to follow simple instructions and will get tips for successful results as a new crochet enthusiast.
- Introduction to Double-Ended Crochet or Crochet/Knit

Twice the fun with two hooks – a hook on each of a long crochet needle. Work with two skeins of yarn simultaneously to produce a luxurious and double-thick result.
- Intermediate Crochet

Description: Beyond the basics. Students will learn to read, understand and interpret more complex and challenging written patterns and instructions, terms and abbreviations. Learn how patterns are written and why, and how to identify “backwards writing” and printing errors. Tips and techniques to improve your skills will be discussed and demonstrated. Complex stitches and patterns in project work will be discussed. Project choices include hats, bags, slippers, lace or solid panel for a shawl or afghan, and more.
- Introduction to Double-Ended Knitting

Use double-pointed knitting needles and work with two skeins of yarn live on the needle which produces a luxurious and double-thick result. There is no wrong side. A completed project has two right sides – the exact same stitch is on both sides. Students must know how to knit and follow basic written knitting instructions to take this class. Informative handouts, instructional materials and abundant samples will be provided. The class is one session for 1.25 hrs.
- Intermediate Knit

Learning to knit and become proficient in basic skills provides for a lifetime of enjoyment and creative self-satisfaction. The student will learn different stitches, how to combine and recognize stitches in patterns and to follow simple directions. Tips will be given for successful results as a new knitting enthusiast.
- Painting in Pastel

Learn how to make your colors ZING using pastels and have loads of fun doing it.
This class is designed for all levels, although some drawing experience will be helpful.
