Class Registration
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Registration deadline is at least one week prior to class start date. Please register as early as possible.
Registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received.
If the one-week deadline has passed, students may be accepted at the discretion of the instructor.
WCAC reserves the right to cancel a class based on insufficient registrations.

Student will be notified by phone and/or e-mail if there are any scheduling changes or if the class is cancelled. Please include your e-mail address if you use e-mail.

All classes/workshops take place at the WCAC location unless otherwise noted.
Refunds could be granted if student's cancellation was recieved at least 7 days prior class beginning date. There are no refunds for missed classes.

Fill out this form and submit it electronically. Once you click the submit button below, your information will be emailed to the WCAC and the space will be held. Once your order has been processed you will receive an email including the amount due and confirmation of one of the following payment methods and additional instructions.

Inclement Weather Policy: In the event of dangerous weather conditions, WCAC follows the Worcester County School system. If classes or after-hours events are cancelled, WCAC will not hold classes.   • Variation on a cable theme for experienced knitters
    Instructor: Susan Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee: $100 plus $20 reimbursed to instructor for specific supplies; four 1.5 hr classes.

    Using scarf patterns to learn reversible surface techniques for cables, mirror images for endings, applying cable principles in projects, general tips and tricks.
    Prerequisite: same as above experienced knitter course. Materials you supply: list at sign-up.
  • Assembly & Finishing techniques for experienced knitters
    Instructor: Susan Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee: $100 plus $20 reimbursed to instructor for specific supplies; four 1.5 hr classes.

    To learn assembly and finishing techniques, the project is a child or adult knitted vest (your choice): picking up stitches, armholes, necklines, seaming and invisible joins. Prerequisite: Same as above experienced knitter course. Materials you supply: list at sign-up.
  • Understanding challenging patterns for experienced knitters
    Instructor: Susan Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee: $100 plus $20 reimbursed to instructor for specific supplies; four 1.5 hr classes.
    Using special methods developed by the instructor, breakdown and dissect pattern sentences, what they mean and learn why they are written this way.
    Prerequisite: The experienced knitter shall know how to knit and purl comfortably with consistent tension, and be familiar with how to do a very basic: increase, decrease, simple cable, and a yarn over; and already know how to follow simple written patterns.
    Materials you supply: list at sign-up.
  • Adv. Beginner Knitting – how to read and execute basic written patterns
    Instructor: Susan Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee:$100 plus supplies @ $41 or less; four 1.5 hr classes .

    Learn how to read and interpret a pattern with special methods developed by the instructor.
    Prerequisite: You must know how to knit and purl comfortably with consistent tension.
  • Adv. Beginner Crochet
    Instructor: Susan D. Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee:$80 plus supplies @ $26; four 1.25 -hr. classes.

    Learn how to follow more challenging stitch patterns beyond beginner, learn about shapes and shaping work.
    Prerequisite: You must know how to single and double crochet comfortably with consistent tension.
  • Beginner Crochet - Introduction
    Instructor: Susan D. Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee: $80.00 (4/1.15 hour sessions) + supplies @$26.

    Major focus is on mastering all of the fundamental stitches for very basic patterns, increasing and decreasing, shaping. Hands-on supervision and help provided.
  • Beginner Knitting - Introduction
    Instructor: Susan D. Kerin
    Start: You have the option to discuss days and times with the instructor.
    Fee: 80.00 (4/1.15 hour sessions); + supplies @$41 or less.

    Major focus on fundamentals; mastering the knit stitch and purl stitch, and how to put them together to form a pattern. Hands-on supervision and help provided.
