Work Description:
Art is a journey; an expression of self. I invest a lot of emotion into my artwork, and hope that the viewer is moved by them.
My artwork celebrates the beauty of nature whether it is in an amazing sunset or a delicate flower.
I hope you enjoy the journey of my artwork... wherever it takes you.

Biography:
Rina is a longtime resident of Ocean City.
She is a watercolor artist whose work consists mostly of landscapes and florals,
painted with expressive color in transparent watercolor.
She rarely uses black or white paint, instead mixing colors to make vibrant darks, and allowing the paper to shine through for her whites.
The inspiration for her landscapes comes from the natural beauty of the Eastern Shore and from her travels to the Caribbean.
She particularly enjoys painting skies, sunsets, palm trees, and water scenes.
Her floral designs depict living, growing flowers each with their own particular character.

Rina is a member of the Art League of Ocean City, which she served 5 years as president and currently serving as past president. She is also a member of the Worcester County Arts Council, The Delaware Watercolor Society, and the Millsboro Art League.
In addition she serves on the Ocean City Arts Advisory Board, and the Maryland Life Magazine Advisory Board.
She is also a partner artist at Gallery One on Route 26 in Ocean View Delaware; a cooperative art gallery- where she has her own studio/gallery space.

"Inspiration" - This is a view of Ocean City Sand Sculptor, Randy Hofman as he is creating an Inspirational Sand Sculpture. I was inspired by the great shadows as I passed Randy doing one of his sand sculptures this summer.
A silent auction of this watercolor print, generously donated by Rina, will be held in October at the Arts Council's Gallery.
The winning bid will be announced beginning of November.
The proceeds from the auction will benefit various programs of the Arts Council.
