Biography: Jane Hiddleson graduated from the Richmond Professional Institute, now known as Virginia Commonwealth University, with a Fine Art degree in Art Education, which she utilized as a teacher in Bridgewater, N.J.
Jane finds her inspiration for her art in the surroundings that she visited and lived in. Her paintings consist of watercolors, oils, mixed media, and pen and ink. In her work she captures the beauty of homes, landscapes, birds and flowers. In addition to Bridgewater, N.J., Jane has lived in Medina, N.Y. and currently here on the Eastern Shore, in Salisbury, MD.
Jane’s paintings have been featured annually on the exhibits at the CCART for the benefit of Salisbury University. She has also shown her work at the Snow Hill, Ocean City and Salisbury public libraries.
She is a member of the Worcester County Arts Council in Berlin and the Art Institute and Gallery in Salisbury
