Meet Irene Diane Voss

Work Description:
Diane paints with oils and creates baskets which are on display at the Nanticoke Indian Museum in Millsboro, Delaware.

Biography:
Diane studied art in Oklahoma, Delaware and Maryland. Her artistic inspirations come from observing real life and real people.
She is especially interested in exploring traditions of Native American Dancers while attending local area Pow-Wows.
Her unique baskets are all hand carved and carefully designed. Each of them tells a story of traditional way of life by Native American people.

Irene prefers painting with oils and her work has proven very welcome among the local people in the town of Delmar, where she resides.

Her paintings and baskets are on permanent display at the Nanticoke Indian Museum in Millsboro, Delaware.
