Bradford Farms - watercolor
Watercolors and Acrylics
A little about me...
Simply put… I am a country girl who loves to paint. Worcester County has always been home for me, so the wetlands and acres of farmland are woven into who I am.
Nature is a constant source of inspiration for me; it’s always changing and full of surprises. I enjoy painting with watercolors, acrylics and oils. They all present different advantages and limitations and I feel like I grow and learn something new each time I paint.
Many of my paintings are reflections from "Memory Lane". Whether I’m focusing on old work boats or restored tractors, it’s my "nod" to simpler times when life was a slower pace. I hope to open a window into my world and share what I see with you.
Although I’ve not received a formal education, I’ve been fortunate to learn from local artists in private lessons and group workshops. They’ve generously shared from their own personal experiences and challenge me to grow as an artist. God has blessed me with a passion for painting and I continue to cultivate and invest in the opportunities He’s provided me.
Many thanks to my family and friends for all their understanding and support as I continue to follow my dreams and develop my skills as an artist.
I am a member of the Worcester County Arts Council its Co-Op Artists Gallery and the Art League of Ocean City.
